Most male respondants argued that music videos were contradictory of the song and the visuals distracts the audience from the actual talent of the star/artist. Especially in female music videos, males feel they are gazing over the image of the artist rather than what is being played. Some artists such as Justin Bieber are adored my young females because of his appearance.
